It is a matter of choices, and how you choose to live, the life you were meant to live, to be happy, healthy, and in abundance.
Being true to your heart, is being true to yourself. A heart focused life adds more definition, renews the spirit, and gives one a greater sense of purpose and well being, creating a burning passion and desire for the zest in life.
Being true to yourself is showing up as your authentic self, the WHO you truly are, which in turn affects every component of your life experience.
By living with love, appreciation and gratitude that evokes “heart felt” emotions that serve as the ignition key for wisdom and insight to all areas of life in total balance. One could refer to the heart, as our emotional “compass”.
Within each of us there exists a high speed, source of wisdom and clear perceptions. It is an organizing intelligence that can lift us beyond our problems, into a new experience of fulfillment even in the midst of chaos, that inner voice, or “heart intelligence” according to HeartMath Institute.
By managing the ravaging effects of stress, being the number one cause that leads to disease, and premature death, one can begin to tap into this “heart intelligence”, simply and effectively through a healthy mind, body, spirit connection, using the” mind as the map, the body as the vehicle and the spirit as the fuel”.
According to John Hopkins cancer is a disease of the mind, body & spirit. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Yet, a proactive and positive spirit will help a cancer warrior be a survivor. Learning how to have a loving and forgiving spirit, learning to relax and enjoy life, is the key!
There are many ways to relax, including a simple “heart centering” exercise that can be done any time, anywhere, by taking a few moments to focus on the heart, take a few deep breaths, as if you are breathing from the heart, focus on a caring and loving thought ,close your eyes, and allow yourself to hold this image, even if for only a few moments. You will be surprised how refreshed you will feel afterwards, and a calm sense of well being, and serenity.
Once this habit is formed, it becomes a way of life, and one can begin making decisions from the heart, as “heart intelligence has been tapped into”, and right decisions then are able to become more clear and right for them in all areas of their life. Imagine that !!
Other ways to relax are doing the slow beautifully choreographed movements of Tai Chi & Chi Kung, taken form the Tibetan Monks, originally designed for combat, but are also be used for calming the mind, body and spirit, creating a body in balance, and at the same time improving focus, concentration, and increase of metabolism.
Making the commitment to yourself, to live your best quality of life begins with YOU!
Being able to live a “heart centered life” is the most beautiful and healthy way to live, laugh, love.
Each one of us have the ability to choose to live and share this concept, and “make a difference” in the world, one heart at a time.
